I am Kayla Laird.

Kayla Laird is a filmmaker and photographer from the heart of the Midwest. She has a background in Cinematic Arts, obtaining a BA from the University of Iowa. Kayla has been making films since the early days of YouTube, telling stories with her friends and colleagues. After University,  Kayla has been sharpening her technical skills working in the world of broadcast television as an engineer. Her first international short film, Bauhaus Legacy, is set to release in Spring 2026.
